Patricia and Robert would like to welcome you to Taransay Bed and Breakfast, Fort William. We are situated in an elevated position, in a quiet cul-de-sac with spectacular views over Loch Linnhe and the Ardgour Hills. We are a pleasant walk of around 15 mins. along the shores of the Loch to the town where there are plenty of Restaurants, Pubs, Supermarkets and Shops.

Fort William being the Outdoor Capital of the U.K. there are many activities locally - Hillwalking, Fishing, Mountain Biking, Ski-ing ,Golf etc.  Why not try the magic of a ride on Britain’s only Mountain Gondola  to Aonach Mor. For the person looking for a challenge there is always “ Ben Nevis” the highest mountain in the U.K.

Come and stay with us at Taransay, use us as a base to enjoy the surrounding area, Inverness is 1 hour 15 minutes drive away, The Isle of Skye, Mull, Oban, and Glencoe can all  be  visited in a day. For those who prefer browsing the internet , we have free wifi.
